Types of Excursions / Tours
In our institute we support sustainable tourism. In other words, we are in favor of preservation of the environment and respect for the communities that we encounter when we travel. We aim to provide travellers with an immersion into the places that we visit, allowing for the creation of genuine interactions and positive relationships with the people that we meet. Our tours offer travelers the oportunity to learn about the natural and socio-cultural aspects of the Yucatan region.
Adventure
This program provides travelers with opportunities to explore caves, cenotes and various parts of Yucatan by bicycle, motorbike, horse or truck. Speleology and rappel are other activities that are possible to practice during some of these tours. If you are looking for excitement and challenge, you can be sure to find it in any of our tours.
Lost cities
Travelers will visit little-known and little-explored archeological sites of the Yucatan. We want everyone to have a wide-open view of the landscapes and histories of Yucatan. Through our excursions, travelers will also get to explore the “monte,” the dry rain forest of the Yucatan.

Colonial architecture
Learn about the history of architecture in the Yucatan by visiting Haciendas, Convents, and Colonial Cities. These are sites founded after the Spanish Conquest, each intended for a specific purpose. For example, the Haciendas were built by rich Spanish descendants in order to amplify the production of the widely used and world famous fibers of the Yucatan henequen. In addition, travelers will be able to observe the sacred arts of these epochs.
Arts of Yucatan and the products of Manual Labor
Learn how families and communities earn a living by crafting items that are significant to their culture. Visit and learn from the work of Beekeepers, Farmers, local Artists, furniture craftsman, hammock producers, and fisherman.
