Cultural immersion
Our cultural immersion programs give students opportunities to become involved in different communities. Cultural immersion programs may mix Spanish or Mayan language learning, other topics of special interest in the Yucatan, and field trips.
Other courses:
Dance: Jarana and other regional dance, Latin rhythms
Art: Music, painting, photography, engraving, sculpture, drawing
Social studies: Archeology, history, anthropology, ethnography, literature
Other: Spelunking, Yucatecan cuisine, ecology, architecture
Our cultural immersion programs require at least 3 participants
to be able to run. The length of the programs changes depending on the personal
objectives and interests of the participants. Programs can be from 2 to 12
weeks long. Below are examples of our cultural immersion programs:
