Beginner I

This course is directed to foreign students with no knowledge of the Spanish language.

Students in this course will work to develop the four language skills: speaking, writing, reading, listening. Depending on the student's level, each course will focus on each of these languages skill. In the advanced course the classes are designed for improvement.

Our professors use a communicative and functional approach in their teaching.

The aim is to have the students learn and use the language in context.

Objective:

The students will learn to express themselves orally and through writing, using vocabulary and simple construction of Spanish in the indicative mood.

Content:

Alphabet Vocabulary (colors, family, body parts, fruits, animals, daily activities, time, greetings, numbers, etc.)

Verbs Ser y Estar Personal Pronouns (difference between tú y usted)

Qualifying Adjectives

Demonstrative Adjectives

Definite and Indefinite Articles

Rules for gender usage and numbers for adjectives and substantive

Useful expressions across varias contexts

Helping verbs Present simple verbs of the indicative tense (regular and irregular)

Indicative Preterite tense (regular and irregular)

Future Simple (regulare and irregulare)

Futuro Idiomatic Preterite Imperfect (regular e irregular)
